Airport Transfers
Melbourne Airport is located approximately 25kms from Melbournes CBD on the Tullamarine Freeway and is easily accessible via hire car, taxi or bus. In addition, Skybus operates a shuttle between the airport and the city, departing every 10-15 minutes between 0600 and 2130 and half hourly or hourly at other times. Skybus operates 7 days a week, including public holidays and is a 20 minute average trip.
Climate
Melbourne has the reputation that its weather can sometimes be a little unpredictable. July is mid winter in Melbourne, with daily temperatures ranging from 6-15 degrees Celcius. For more information see www.bom.gov.au.
Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the World Summit Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
